Day 1

Arrival at Bagdogra Airport / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station – Gangtok

• Upon arrival at Bagdogra (IXB) Airport / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP), our representative will escort you to your hotel in Gangtok.
• Complete your hotel check-in formalities and take some time to rest in your room.
• Spend the first day of your Gangtok and Darjeeling honeymoon vacation at a relaxed pace.
• Explore the refreshing surroundings, take a stroll along the hilly roads, enjoy local food such as steaming momos or simply relax and breathe in the cool mountain breeze.
• Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 2

Day Tour of Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir

• After breakfast, start your excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir.
• Drive through scenic mountain roads and pause at Kyongnosla, famed for its lush alpine forests and charming waterfalls.
• Reach the glacial Tsomgo Lake at 12,400 ft, where crystal waters reflect the rugged surrounding peaks.
• Tsomgo Lake is known for its changing colours and is amongst the most visited tourist attractions in Gangtok.
• Further, visit the famous Baba Mandir built in fond memory of Late Major Baba Harbhajan Singh, whose legend lives on as a guardian of the mountains.
• Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Gangtok.

Distance from Gangtok to Tsomgo Lake: 40 km

Approx. Travel Time: 1.5 Hours

Note: In case of landslides or any blockage, Tsomgo Lake may be closed and alternate sightseeing will be provided.

Nathula Pass: Nathula Pass can be added at an additional cost, subject to permit availability and weather conditions. Please note that Nathula Pass is closed on Monday and Tuesday.

Day 3

Gangtok – Darjeeling (Approx. 100 kms / 4 Hrs)

• After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for a half-day city tour of Gangtok.
• Visit Dro-dul Chorten Stupa.
• Next, visit the Research Institute of Tibetology and Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom.
• In the evening, transfer to Darjeeling through scenic winding mountain roads.
• Darjeeling is famous for its breathtaking beauty, sloping tea gardens and spectacular views of Mount Kangchenjunga.
• Upon reaching your hotel, complete your check-in formalities and relax in your room.
• Overnight stay at the hotel in Darjeeling.

Day 4

Darjeeling Local Sightseeing – Full Day

• Wake up early in the morning and proceed to Tiger Hill to witness the phenomenal sunrise over Mt. Kanchendzonga.
• Stop by the alluring Ghoom Monastery.
• Visit the elegant Batasia Loop, a Toy Train railway track that spirals around the Gorkha War Memorial.
• Return to your hotel and have breakfast.
• Set out for a full-day city tour of Darjeeling.
• Visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Tenzing Rock.
• Visit PNZ Zoological Park. Entry charges are additional.
• Sip on a hot cup of refreshing Darjeeling tea.
• Enjoy a delightful ride on the Darjeeling Ropeway on an optional basis.
• End the day’s sightseeing by visiting the Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda.
• Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Darjeeling.
